St. George in October

We had lot's of fun on our road trip in October. Here is some of the highlights...

Book of tape... I have never really listened to them but josh's cousins.. got us into it.. It made the trip go by so fast...
We visited Brigham Young's Winter Home.
Ailey played in the water... She has Lot's of fun doing that...
We went swimming.. Ailey learned how to go under water and hold her breath..
I raced Wendy in the water.. and go my butt kicked every time.
We went to Zions National Park.. Had tons of fun.. We hiked many trails.. Easy trails for me... lol, Ailey loved the shuttle bus.. She enjoyed singing in it.
Wendy and I got to go see a play while the boys took care of the kids.. But mostly so they could watch the U of U football game.
Ailey and Josh snoring on the way back.
Oh and playing board games.. Josh and I never won.. :(

We really had Lot's of fun.. and am so glad that we get along so well with Wendy and Matt.. Thanks Wendy and Matt for inviting us.

No More Questions!

So today in the car this is how the less then 5 minute drive went.

Ailey: Hey dad where are you going?
Dad: Going with Matt to the priesthood session.
Ailey: Where is mom going?
Dad: Over to Wendy's house to make bows for your hair.
Ailey: Oh OK.

Not even 1 minute later: In this minute break I asked Ailey if she is going to go potty for me at Wendy's house. No reply.

Ailey: Hey dad where are you going?
Dad: I said I was going with Matt to the priesthood session.
Ailey: where is mom going?
Dad: To Wendy's house with you.
Ailey: Oh...

Maybe 2 minutes later... I asked Ailey again. So you going to go potty on the toilet. No reply.

Ailey started to ask the same question when josh cut her off and said no more questions.

So a few minutes had past. And I said Ailey.. so we going to go to the potty when we get there?

And she said.. Mom no more questions!!

I love my 3 year old.. Why do they remember the things that you feel are not as important.

5 Years

It's hard to believe that 5 years ago... Josh and I were married.. I remember most of the feelings I felt that day.. I remember coming out with my wedding dress on and we was smiling so big.. It made me feel like I was the most beautiful thing ever. I remember sitting with josh for about 20 minutes before we were married.. I remember talking to him about the future and it being very peaceful. I look back at the 5 years so far.. and am so blessed. We have come so far. Josh is going to be finishing school soon.. Which he started when we got married. We have a wonderful daughter. And I hope Josh knows that I love him for working hard in school, going after his dreams, and always loving me, and being a great dad. I am so happy that we are in it together. I hope and pray that this next year we will attend the temple more.... I love you josh.. I wouldn't be able to do this without you.. and I don't think I could do the things I am doing if it wasn't for you and our future.... I love you!!!

I love Jenna

As many of you know Jenna has become the supporter of our family while I have quit working to finish my last year of school. I will be graduating next summer with my bachelors in Respiratory Therapy and this year I will be taking the License and register exams. Because Jenna has been working so much she hasn't had the time to update our blog like in the past so I'm going to start updating it so that you can all know whats happening in our lives. For my first post I just want to tell Jenna how grateful I am for her in my life. She is a trooper going back to full time work to provide for our family. I know it's not easy for her but she does it without complaining and has done a great job. Besides working hard she has saved us tons of money on groceries with coupons. She is a great wife and a great mother. We love you so much. Thanks for all you do for our family. Love your husband and daughter.

P.S. Jenna only paid $20 for all of the groceries in the picture. And she is getting $40 dollars in rebates back. She is amazing.

Summer Fun

This summer has been crazy busy for our family. Between school and work we haven't had time to enjoy it as much as we have in the past. This last weekend was Josh's sides family reunion. We went to McCammon, Idaho, it's about ten minutes from Lava Hot Springs. We had a great time relaxing and playing games with family. Ailey really enjoyed camping. She now asks if we can go camping everyday because of the fun she had playing with her cousins and sleeping in the tent. We also make tents with blankets and chairs in our front room almost everyday. It was great just getting away and being with family.

I am so happy!!!

s
u

OK... I am so freaking happy it's crazy.. no one can ruin my day!!!!

I went into the
Albertson's to use my doubles.. and after 3 sets!!! Which they didn't mind.. I asked about the coupons for tuna! She says yeah we have some. Are you freaking serious ( this is what was going through my head).. And we also have the pouches in today. So I was going to buy some other stuff.. But when she told me that I could use 3 doubles with it too.. I was hyperventilating.

What I got today!

4 Jars of pickles .50 cents each
2 hefty plates .67 cents each
30 pouches of tuna which don't expire until 2012 I paid 5.08. And I got 6.00 off my next order..

do the math.. I got FREE tuna!!! No only free.. but paid to walk out with them... And I only paid 8.78. So if you do the math I really only paid 2.78 for all of this!!!

Oh and the picture of us was on the 4th waiting for fireworks.. We are so cute~~
