Halloween 08

So on Halloween I worked a 10 hour shift and didn't get home until 7:30. I really wanted to go with Ailey around to a couple houses. She wouldn't wear her outfit unless we were going outside. I sure had some fun taking her around. Let's say she was miss independent when she figured it out. Our family is soooooo cute!

Ailey has been loving this cat. It's a decoration for Halloween. Kids crack me up!! This is the moment when my heart melts and says Josh.. we could really handle another one.

Boots and Pjs.....

Let's say Ailey has been taken an active role in dressing herself. It's lately been very entertaining. She loves her boots. Then while I was looking over some paper work she found daddy's hat.

The other night Ailey gets into bed after her bath. And I said I will read you 3 books. "k", Ailey said. I read her the 3 books and while I was finishing the last one she said "Again". I said no...And then said Ok.. 1 more book. She said 2. I said 1. And after reading the book and saying prayers and singing her a few songs I left. When I was leaving her room, I couldn't help but laugh. Where do kids get this?

Ailey 's Check-up

• Ailey is 22.5 lbs. ( I know... small.)
• Ailey is now 34.5 inches long.
• Ailey is in the 75 % percentile for length.
• Ailey is only in the 5th percentile for weight.. She at least is on the chart.. YEAH!!!! This is a big accomplishment.

So today Ailey cried at the doctors visit.. it was not fun. I decided we would go back for the flu shot next week and get 2 other shots she didn't get. I figured if we did it all at once it wouldn't be so bad. Last night I was talking to joshes brother Brady. While Ailey took off her diaper and said MOm!!! com'here!!! So I followed her naked bum to the toilet. I lift her up there while I just sat there and watched.. While she peed.. I was so happy.. she did it by herself. YEAh!!
