Bubble Bath

Today Ailey had her first bubble bath.. and last.. lol. This bottle of Dora bubble bath cost me 2.50 cents.. I was trying to be a great mom and let Ailey experience a bubble bath.. I was letting her bathe and left the bottle on the shelf.. ran down stairs to get a basket of clothes. She never dumps out her other soap so why would she now. So I was gone a few minutes tops.. I came back to a full tub of strawberry bubble bath. Ailey loved it.. I didn't.

Why 3 year olds are so fun...

So.. I was at Walmart this week.. And Ailey and I wanted to check out some toys. We were looking at some toys and getting excited about what we were going to ask Santa. This guy is on the isle with us. He is coughing really hard, almost like coughing up a lung. Ailey turns to the guy and says "Cough it up dude".... I am completely embarrassed. The look on the guys face was priceless..
I told josh about the story later only because he is the one that always tells Ailey to cough it up. And I say dude when Ailey is in trouble or just for fun..

Then I received our bill for com-cast this week. I knew Ailey bought a movie.. and I was a little mad about that. But I was like whatever... But when I opened it up i found it was 30 dollars more.. Then I found out that she bought a movie 6 times at 4.99 a piece. ... lets say i was a little mad.. I told josh you do have to watch her.. and He said it wasn't him.. but I worked most of the days.. so she was under supervision of him. So I made him call com-cast. They took the charges off.. I was so happy..

Then Tonight while playing with Ailey and Josh. We played doctor. I was the patient and took a beating. I had Dr. Rae and Dr Rae Jr. working on me. Josh says we have a 24 year old women that may have breast cancer, so we will have to check for lumps. ( I am thinking josh, this is not something we should come up for kid playing.) But Dr. Rae Jr. ( aka Ailey) says " oooo... I love bumps. Josh and I start laughing..

In love

I am 100% completely in love with my daughter. And I am not sure if this is possible but I think sometimes I could eat her. She will come up to me and starting singing "I love u, u of me, we a happy family, with a kiss and a hug, you love me too... " I know it's from Barney... but if it gets your kid to love and hug you all day long... that wouldn't' you bear with Barney.

Time is coming when I go back to work full-time. I am starting to get sad that when I wake up in the morning we can't sit there and hid under the covers, play I love you more game, eat cereal together, play with naked baby's every day. She is my little side kick... I love her so much. And yes there is days the mother thing is overwhelming.. But I seem to always get through it.

Ailey has been loving this cat. It's a decoration for Halloween. Kids crack me up!! This is the moment when my heart melts and says Josh.. we could really handle another one.

Ailey had her second birthday on Saturday. We celebrated with some family. My parents gave Ailey a tickle me Elmo. She loved it.. But sometimes she gets scared. But she loves to tell me to tickle his tummy. She loved her birthday cake. I believe that my child is in love with Elmo. The other day I was feeding her some food for lunch, and after she was done I told her she could have a cookie. But she had to share with Elmo. She has this little Elmo from her cake. While I was getting the cookie.. she looked at Elmo and said want a cookie Elmo. Bite?.. I just started to laugh. Kids sure make life hard... but they sure make it tons more enjoyable. It's crazy that she is 2 ... and some days I want another one. But remind myself that I want to enjoy this time with her, and better our life so we can have another one so I can stay home with them. Plus I also thinks it's God's time too...

Josh and I celebrated our Anniversary this year by going to where we celebrated our Honeymoon. This place is in Midway, Inn on the Creek. I loved it. The bed was so comfy.. and it was nice not having to wake up at the crack of dawn to a child poking me or screaming MOMMY!!! This was our first overnighter without her. It was sad... but well worth it. I don't remember the last time that Josh and I were together for that long.. and was able to talk about our future. It was nice to reflect on things and to sit down and have a nice dinner without getting frustrated... And the best food on your clothes.. This happens to me still.

Thanks to my family for coming out and enjoying some cake and ice cream.

What a sad day

Ailey had her 1 year check up today. She weighed 16 lbs 13 oz. Nuts!!!! She is so tiny for her age. But the doctor told her she needs to start eating some fating things.( What???? I am on a diet but Ailey gets extra butter on her stuff.???) If you have any ideas of things that are fating to help Ailey I would appreciate it. And stuff that would not be tempting for myself. But yeah she was looking good. Oh... but the shots were sick.. 1 in both arms. then 1 in both legs.. I thought she was going to die. She gaged like she was going to throw up, then she spit up a little... then she cried so hard that I couldn't even hear the cry just the motion. It was not a fun day... Well party on... I have a sick, tired girl to go take care of.

Ailey Turned 1.

So.... Ailey Mckell Rae has turned the big 1. She enjoyed her cake and wrapping paper..But now she enjoys eating elmo's eye's off.. Oh and her sparky dog stuffed animal. She is also in the process of cutting another tooth. But hope you enjoy the pictures....

Well on Friday September 21, 2007 Josh and I have decided to go on a diet. We are going to lose this weight. We started Weight Watchers. So I hope we can pull it off..My first goal is 23 pounds. Josh's is the same. We will keep you posted of our weight loss.
